Mezcal Cocktails


Smokey Cacao

Ingredients:
50ml Don Amado Mezcal Rústico
25ml Bergamot liqueur
15ml Dry Vermouth
10 ml Cacao syrup

Method:
Add all ingredients into mixing glass, stir for 30-45 seconds and strain into a tumbler with a large ice cube. Garnish with a rosemary sprig!

Paloma Negra

Ingredients:
50ml Don Amado Mezcal Rustico
25ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
25ml Pink Grapefruit juice
Top with Soda

Method:
Salt rim the glass and combine ingredients and add ice. Top with soda. Garnish with grapefruit & rosemary.
Enjoy!


La Mezcalita

Ingredients:

50ml Mina Real Mezcal
20ml Fresh Lime Juice
15ml Cointreau (3 tsps)
3 dashes of orange bitters

Method:
Add all ingredients to a shaker, shake thoroughly and strain into a coupette (or ice filled low ball) glass rimmed with Tajin salt. Garnish with lime peel and serve!


Blood & Sand

Ingredients:
30ml of Picaflor Mezcal Espadín
20ml Cherry Liqueur
20ml Dry White Vermouth
30ml Blood Orange Juice
Garnish: Edible Petal & Maraschino Cherry

Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, vigorously shake for 30-45 seconds, then double strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with an edible petal & a maraschino cherry!


Royal Ruby

Ingredients:
40ml Picaflor Mezcal Espadin
20 ml Lemon Juice
5ml crème de cassis
10 ml of Blackberry Liqueur 
Garnish with a rose petal

Method: 
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
Double strain and serve in a coupette or martini glass.
Garnish with a rose petal!


Espresso Mezcal 🍸☕️

Ingredients:
40ml Don Amado Mezcal Tobalá & Bicuishe
30ml espresso coffee
20ml coffee liqueur

Method:
Add ingredients to shaker with ice, shake and stain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of chocolate & a few coffee beans!


 Spicy Samba 

Ingredients:
50ml Picaflor Mezcal Espadín
25ml pineapple juice
15ml fresh lime juice
15ml honey syrup

Method:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake thoroughly and strain into an ice-filled low ball glass. Garnish with a chili and a dash cayenne pepper!


Pina del Toro

Ingredients:
45 ml Don Amado Mezcal Reposado
1 tsp lime honey
20 ml pineapple juice
20 ml lime juice

Method:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake thoroughly and double strain into a coupette.
Garnish with an edible petal!


Istmeño

Ingredients:
40ml Picaflor Mezcal Espadín
20ml Pineapple Juice
30ml Orange Juice
1 Dash Aromatic Bitter
1 Dash Bitter Chocolate
Garnish Pineapple Leaf

Method:
Add ingredients into a shaker, double strain and serve in a Jícara with ice - serve and enjoy!


Mezcal Martini

Ingredients:
45ml Don Amado Mezcal Tobalá Bicuishe
15ml dry white vermouth
5ml Olive brine
Lime wheel
Bitters

Method:
Place ice into a martini glass. Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 60 seconds. Remove the ice from the Martini glass and strain pour the stirred ingredients into the chilled glass. Garnish with an olive!


Manhattan

Ingredients:
45 ml Don Amado Mezcal Rustico
30 ml Red Vermouth
Dash of Angostura bitters
Maraschino Cherry

Method:
Place all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, stir for 30- 45 seconds, then strain into a chilled glass (optional over large ice cube). Garnish with a maraschino cherry!


Telenovela

Ingredients:
50ml Picaflor Mezcal Espadín
25 ml Abelha Organic Cachaca Silver
20ml fresh lime juice
2tsp passion fruit purée
10ml simple syrup
5 cilantro leaves

Method:
Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously. Double strain into a coupe, then garnish with a small pinch of ground turmeric and a cilantro leaf.

Mezcaloma

Ingredients:
50ml Mina Real Mezcal Blanco
50ml fresh grapefruit Juice
20ml agave nectar
15ml Lime Juice

Method:
Glass rimmed with Tajín salt (or regular salt). Pour all ingredients over ice and stir. Top with soda water & garnish with mint and a wedge of lime!


Mezcal Negroni

Ingredients:
30ml Picaflor Mezcal Espadín
30ml Campari
30ml Red Vermouth
Garnish Orange Slice

Method:
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, stir for 30 seconds to a minute, and pour into a tumbler glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange slice and serve!


Mezcal Martini

Ingredients:
45ml Don Amado Mezcal Tobalá Bicuishe
15ml vermouth
5ml Olive brine


Method:

Place ice into a martini glass. Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 45 seconds. Remove the ice from the Martini glass and strain pour the stirred ingredients into the chilled glass. Garnish with an olive!


Mezcal Margarita

Ingredients:
50ml  Picaflor Mezcal Espadín or Wild
20ml Triple sec
25ml Lime juice
10ml agave syrup 
Garnish: salt rim & lime wheel

Method:
Add mezcal, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake until well-chilled. Salt rim the glass and strain into the ice filled glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel!


Mezicante

Ingredients
45ml Picaflor Mezcal Espadín
20ml Aperol
20ml Grapefruit juice
15ml Rosso Vermouth
10ml lime

Method:
Place ingredients in a shaker, shake and strain in a tumbler with ice and garnish with a dash of hot sauce & a slice of grapefruit!


Mezcal Paloma

Ingredients:
50ml Mina Real Mezcal
10ml agave syrup
10ml lime juice
60ml pink grapefruit juice
Soda water

Method:
Add ingredients (but not the soda water) to cocktail shaker - shake & strain into an ice-filled low ball or highball glass. Top with soda water & garnish with the wedge of grapefruit.
